The Portobello CPZ - or Controlled Parking Zone - is a proposal put forward by the City of Edinburgh Council to address parking concerns in the Portobello area. These concerns were raised following a public survey, carried out in 2021.

The proposal has been shared with residents and businesses as part of the consultation. All responses will be forwarded to the council’s Traffic Regulation Order Sub Committee, which is expected to complete by Autumn 2025. The consultation is open until 23rd May 2025.

These changes will be in effect Monday to Sunday inclusive, from 8:30am - 5:30pm.
